Thank you...yes you

As I thought about this post, "Thank you" were the 2 words that dropped in my heart. I know that October is Pastor/Clergy Appreciation Month so I decided to express some appreciation.

Acts 2:47b* and 1 Co 3:6** make it clear that God and only God can increase a church. Ps 92:13*** then confirms that those who stay where they ae planted, will flourish.

In fact Jesus was quick to correct the eyesight of the man who saw people as "trees walking."**** So in essence, people are like trees who should stay where they are planted in order to flourish.

The summary of these 4 verses is 8 letters from me: "Thank you."

Just want to say thank you to all those who have truly trusted God and remained planted in the churches He added them to. I believe that I can confidently say this on behalf of other Mrs. Pastors and our husbands too. You may be saying:
"But, they don't do this or that (well or at all)."
Agreed, we're not perfect - neither are you.

This is why and where I have another very special "Thank you" to all those who have stood by their Pastor and Mrs. Pastor, and like Aaron and Hur***** have done or did something (or many things) to help them in the ministry. Thank you to those who are planning to help too.

Thank you to everyone who has either stepped down in prayer &/or stepped up to help.****** God bless you.
